Brewlab went on its travels again earlier this month delivering the latest Brewing Skills Development course over in Ireland.
It’s the third time we’ve ran course following on from dates in Nottingham and Liverpool. The 3-day offering is designed to do as it says – develop brewing skills. It is ideal for existing brewery staff who are looking to gain a better understanding of the brewing process and quality assurance procedures. By running the course at different regions throughout the UK and Ireland we hope to make it as accessible as possible to breweries who have limited time and budget to release team members.
We selected the award-winning Porterhouse Brewery to host the course.
Arthur Bryant, course manager at Brewlab commented: ‘Porterhouse Brewery was a fantastic venue with very advanced equipment which allowed us to demonstrate aspects of the course.’
Nick from Rascals Brewing Co who attended the course quoted ‘I found the course very interesting and well worth attending. I only attended the last day but felt I should have attended the three days. In particular for me the yeast section towards the end with the practical microscope use will really help us take the next step in process quality.’
The next 3 venues for the course are:
– Brewhouse and Kitchen in London
– Hawkshead Brewery in Kendal
– Black Sheep Brewery in Masham
