We made the trip to the capital last week to run our ever popular Start Up Brewing course.
In what was difficult build up due to the Queen passing, we took the decsion to turn it into a 2 day course by extending the second and third days to accomodate the bank holiday. With the flexibility of our hosts, Brewhouse and Kitchen Highbury, the course flowed well and was a success.
We managed to fulfill the objectives of all the attendees and look forward to seeing their next steps in the industry.
Course Coordinator Richard Hunt explained “It was a well attended course and goes to show there is still the interest there in getting into the brewing industry. The great thing about the format of the Start Up Brewing is the fact we can roll it out at different venues and to deliver to people who wouldn’t have been able to get to Sunderland. We had a number of international students from countries that could be at the start of a craft beer boom – it’s exciting to see how big their plans are. We expect to see them or business partners on follow up Brewlab courses to gain the practical brewing skills”.
The next Start Up Brewing course will run here at Brewlab in Sunderland on Monday 21st – Wednesday 23rd November 2022. We hope to see you there!
