David is a passionate, enthusiastic brewer who has been at Brewlab since 2003.

Seeking a new challenge after 15 years as a miner, David quickly identified a career in the brewing industry and filled the position of head brewer at Brewlab’s sister company; Darwin Brewery. David managed production of up to 30 barrels of beer per week on the 10 barrel kit, supplying to local outlets and large chain supermarkets. During his time with Darwin Brewery, David was able to complete formal training and progress into the position of brewing tutor for Brewlab. He is proud to meet students from a variety cultures and backgrounds and assist their development into professional brewers.
