Alison takes up exciting new role at Brewlab
After 20 years managing the Brewlab laboratory we are delighted to announce that Alison Douglas (née Hedley) has moved onto an exciting new role here at Brewlab – heading up our external services.
Running a busy brewery takes time and commitment and clients often find it difficult to leave the brewery to access training or tackle specific production issues.
That’s why we’re bringing the beer boffin to you!
A vastly experience microbiologist and analysis expert Alison will share her knowledge and expertise directly with you, on-site, at your brewery.
Installing a laboratory can be expensive and most breweries would much rather spend the money on new brewing equipment or ingredients. But if you are to grow and be successful you must get to grips with the science behind brewing and that’s were Alison comes in (quite literally!).
“I start by undertaking a survey of your brewery, skills and knowledge this includes a confidential discussion about any brewing issues you may be having.” Says Alison. “We then make a detailed recommendation about the best way to forward. Tailored specifically to your set-up.”
“Sometimes the solution to a problem is simple and if we can solve it there and then we do. But other times the answer requires more in-depth analysis but with Brewlab’s years of experience you can be confident that we have the expertise to solve any challenge.”
So whether you have aspirations to expand or you just want to brew better beer. Brewlab’s external services can deliver workable solutions that are right for you and your business.
Business Development Manager Alison Douglas (née Hedley) discusses the benefits of Brewlab’s external services.
